ROVOP has extensive experience working in the challenging high current, high turbidity, low visibility environment often found in offshore wind and interconnector projects.
Such projects require some of the most technical pilot skills of any ROV task and our ROV personnel have extensive experience in this regard, having worked in many of the offshore wind projects across Europe.
ROVOP has supported offshore wind projects across Europe since it was founded in 2011.
We carved out a niche for ourselves by focusing solely on the provision of ROV services, being independent of all vessel owners and charterers and hand-picking the most experienced ROV professionals.
ROVOP has immense experience of assisting with cable laying and pull-ins, touchdown monitoring, pre-construction seabed surveys including UXO, foundation installation, seal activation and other tasks related to construction and maintenance of offshore wind facilities.
We train our ROV pilots in house at the ROVOP Academy to ensure we have the advanced skills required by the sector and are focussed on delivering the correct vehicle for the job to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Underwater, ROVOP becomes the ‘eyes and hands’ of the construction or maintenance project, providing the vital data, images and intervention. We have specialised in providing ROVs specifically for the conditions required for the offshore wind market. These ROVs are used to support fixed and floating offshore wind installations.
