ROVOP raises nearly £12k for local children’s charity

ROVOP has raised nearly £12,000 for its 2025 charity partner, Charlie House.

After being selected by employees, the ROVOP team has gone above and beyond to support this amazing local charity throughout the year.

Charlie House provides vital support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions across the North-east of Scotland. The work they do for families is truly inspiring, and ROVOP is honoured to play a small part in helping them continue that support.

Fundraising has included taking part in the Kiltwalk and the Beast Race, hosting office bake sales, horse racing night, supporting Christmas Jumper Day and raffles, and attending Charlie House charity events; charity golf day, Fizz and Fashion event and annual charity ball.  The effort across the business has been outstanding and resulted in a total of £11,845.

Shellie Stewart, EA/Fundraising Manager explained: “We’re incredibly proud to have raised almost £12,000 for Charlie House in 2025. We’ve had walkers, bakers, golfers, raffle-prize donators and enthusiastic supporters all pulling together for one common goal – making a difference.

“A huge thank you to everyone who took part in events, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets, sponsored colleagues, volunteered their time, or simply showed up to support.

“The commitment, generosity and enthusiasm shown throughout the past year has been outstanding, and every single contribution has helped make a real difference to families in our local community. This has been a real team effort, and we couldn’t have done it without our full team’s support.”

Shellie and Steven Cowie, Regional Director – Europe & West Africa, met with Rebecca Wink and Ryan Wilson at Charlie House to hand over the cheque to them.

Rebecca said: “We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everybody at ROVOP for choosing Charlie House as their charity partner.

“The incredible amount raised will help us continue to support babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as their families, across the North-east of Scotland. We are so grateful to Shellie and the entire ROVOP team for their support.”

ROVOP is committed to continuing its support for the community and carrying this momentum into 2026 and beyond. The organisations’ 2026 charity will be revealed soon.
