ROVOP has announced local social care charity, VSA as its charity partner for 2026 following a company-wide vote involving colleagues across the business.
The partnership continues ROVOP’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community initiatives through fundraising, volunteering and awareness activity. Last month, ROVOP announced the results of its successful campaign of fundraising in 2025, which saw the firm raise almost £12,000 for Charlie House.
Based in Aberdeen, VSA is a long-established charity providing vital support to vulnerable people across the region. Its services span a wide range of areas, including support for adults with learning disabilities, care and wellbeing services for older people, mental health support, care at home, support for unpaid carers and residential education for children living with complex and additional support needs. Through its services , the organisation helps individuals live more independent and fulfilling lives while ensuring they have access to the care and support they need.
Shellie Stewart,Executive Assistant and Fundraising Manager at ROVOP said: “VSA delivers vital support to many people across the North East, and we’re proud to be supporting the organisation in 2026.
“In recent years, we have proudly supported our nominated charities through our fundraising efforts and remain committed to continuing that support. The ROVOP team always shows great enthusiasm for fundraising initiatives, and we’re excited to see what we can achieve together over the coming year.”
Throughout 2026, ROVOP employees will take part in a variety of fundraising and social activities aimed at raising funds and awareness for the charity. Colleagues will also have opportunities to volunteer with VSA, helping to support its work within the local community.
Planned events include marathons and walking challenges, as well as the return of the Beast Race, alongside social activities including quiz nights and other fundraising activities.
Employees who are planning to take part in a race, run or other challenge during the year are encouraged to consider fundraising in support of VSA as part of the initiative.
