Crewing Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Crewing Manager to join our team in Aberdeen.

The Crewing Manager will work as a senior member of the Operations Team responsible for efficient management of the company’s offshore personnel. The Crewing Manager will manage all aspects of offshore global recruitment, contracts of employment, compensation and delivery of offshore personnel logistics through the crewing teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the global recruitment and selection activities for all offshore personnel
  • Progress and develop the Company’s recruitment database for future hires
  • In cooperation with the Management Team, anticipate future company recruitment and crew requirements, manage the collation of recruitment statistics and report on recruitment activities
  • Lead the delivery of timely and accurate application of offshore contracts of employments, new start documentation and inductions
  • Manage and oversea global offshore personnel planning and crewing teams
  • Responsible for the scheduling/facilitation of offshore personnel crew changes for projects in cooperation with Project Manager’s and the Operation Manager
  • Oversea and improve the tracking and processing of accurate offshore man days, project spreadsheets, expenses and timesheets
  • Oversea payroll requirements any associated payroll queries
  • Manage offshore personnel HR matters in line with current legislation, including recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues
  • Identify, define and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain travel provider accounts
  • Manage and lead the crewing team and cover absence for other crewing members
  • Participate in emergency response and the on-call rota
  • Occasional travel to global locations


  • More than 10 years ROV personnel crewing experience
  • CIPD qualification
  • Strong knowledge and expertise of Employment Law and employee relations
  • Strong people management and leadership capabilities
  • Experience of working in a fast pace and high growth environment
