The ROVOP management team is led by Scott, Steven and Mark. Together, we have worked for a wide range of clients including Shell, BP, Hess, Talisman, Nexen, Visser Smit, ExxonMobil, Agip and ENI. We have completed projects in most regions of the world from the North Sea to South America.

Based at Westhill, Aberdeen – the recognised European HQ of the subsea industry – we are ideally placed to make the most of our experience and network. As the specialists in ROV operations, we will continue to work with clients worldwide. We are ideally positioned to talk to Houston and Singapore in the same day and naturally our working day is scheduled around yours.

    Mark Vorenkamp

    Mark is a business leader and entrepreneur in the Subsea industry. Mark held MD roles within Brown & Root and Fugro, before co-founding his own company, Century Subsea, which became DOF Subsea.

    Scott Freeland

    Scott has 20 years experience of operating, fixing, co-ordinating and managing ROVs and ROV projects. Scott has previously worked for Fugro, Canyon and Subsea 7 in the North Sea, Africa, North America and around the world.

    Steven Gray

    Steven has been a banker, lawyer and private equity investor, mostly for the oil, gas and renewable energy industries. Steven was previously with Dundas & Wilson, Bank of Scotland and LDC. Steven has lived and worked in Scotland, Germany and New York and speaks German.
